Acts 4 - One Heart and Soul

Acts 4:32-37 ~ One Heart and Soul

Guest Teacher: Craig Bondy

This week, we studied the unity of the early church and their willingness to be used by God minister to each other’s needs whether they be spiritual, emotional, relational, and/or physical. We were also introduced to a new character in the history of the early church: Barnabas. We learned that Barnabas was a priest AND a land owner. We looked at what the Law said about Levitical priests owning land and God’s instruction to Jeremiah (another priest) to purchase land. We looked at the possibility that this was a burial plot, and eventually concluded that God used flawed people—and He still does—to accomplish His purposes.
